Valeria Sanabria
Leather Grader, Quality Control and Worshop Manager
Valeria is the backbone of her workshop floor. Having worked her way up from a basic assembler, she has developed an unmatched tactile memory—she can determine the exact origin, tanning method, and durability of a hide just by running her fingers over it. She is highly respected for her firm but fair leadership style. To unwind from the high-stress environment of meeting production deadlines, Valeria cooks. She is famous for her sancocho and uses food as a way to bring people together, often mentoring young women entering the manufacturing industry.

As a single mother, Valeria’s primary motivation has always been providing for her sons, Andres and Felipe. Now that they are both in their late teens and studying engineering at the local university, she is adjusting to an emptier house, though both boys still show up every single Sunday with their friends for her legendary weekend feasts.
